CNOTES RECORDS LAUNCHES A NEW TRADITIONAL AND GOSPEL LABEL IN TEXAS Cnotes Records has opened a traditional jazz and gospel label based in Dallas, Texas. The first artist release is James Edward Fisher, a reknown pianist who performed with the Red Tops. This album was produced by Cnote (CBS Radio 94.7 The Wave, Pete Anderson, Little Dog Records, John Tesh, Bryan McKnight, Kenny G) and engineered by Rick Rooney (Chaka Khan, The Bar Kays, Cameo and many more), and recorded at the infamous January Studios in Carrolton Texas. The release is called "Alive" because the artist is deceased, and the players are keeping his legacy alive respectively.
